I am a recent graduate from the Univeristy of Wisconsin-Madison; I have earned a
Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science as well as a Certificate in Digital Cinema Production,
and I graduated with Honors in the Liberal Arts.
While I believe that the growth and development of new technologies can be essential in creating a
more equitable, diverse, and progressive world, such leaps in human innovation are even more valuable
when paired with creativity and imagination. With such a belief in mind, I maintain that furthering
both science and the arts are crucial pursuits in modern life, and I hope to find a career path that
balances both of these avenues of study.

Java Developer Intern
- Used Spring Boot to create API endpoints for an Oracle database, while maintaining clear and readable code by splitting the backend into Repository, Service, and Controller classes
- Learned how to create and maintain a TypeScript-based frontend using Angular, as well as connecting that frontend to a Java-based Spring Boot backend using API endpoints
- Developed my skills in TypeScript, HTML, and SCSS by writing code that not only works, but is easily maintainable and readable and is standardized with the most current and up-to-date best practices, in both responsiveness and accessibility
- Acquired a deeper understanding of JUnit tests, specifically automated tests, through the use of Playwright, giving me firsthand experience with end-to-end testing in a modern application
- Became an integrated member of an Agile team, creating descriptive user stories and tasks designed to be completed within two-week sprints; this gave me experience with using Jira, as well as participating in code reviews with my supervising developers
- Practiced efficiently and effectively analyzing and understanding a codebase that already exists, as well as reverse-engineering the code that’s been analyzed to work in a modern Spring Boot backend and Angular frontend
